Amanda Kaya is a violinist and violist dedicated to both performance and teaching, with a reach that extends well beyond the concert hall. Originally from Houston, Texas, Amanda began piano at age five before playing the violin and viola, laying the foundation for a lifelong devotion to music.
​
She studied at the University of Oklahoma under Mark Neumann, where she twice received the “Most Outstanding Violist” award and performed in the Honors String Quartet. Award highlights include being a finalist at the Round Top Music Festival Institute, the Honors Performance Series at Carnegie Hall, and winning the Oklahoma Youth Orchestra Concerto Competition as a high school senior.

Amanda is also active internationally as a performer and content creator, with a following of 200,000+ across platforms. Her performances of classical works, as well as her arrangements of beloved film scores and video game music, have brought her recognition from a global audience.
​
As an educator, Amanda teaches violin and viola in New Jersey and serves as a String Coordinator at New Jersey City University Community Music School. She is committed to guiding students of all ages in developing both technical skill and musical expression, fostering confidence and creativity in every lesson.
​
Amanda will receive her Master of Music degree from New Jersey City University in Fall 2025.
