Miguel Angel Olivas, is a Mexican American tenor who has received his masters in vocal performance in pedagogy from the university of Montana in Missoula. Originally from San Jose California, Miguel has traveled and performed in many different theatres and shows.

He has a versatile voice that is able to sing both opera and musical theater. He speaks both Spanish and English, however he has training in teaching how to sing Italian, German, and French as well.

As a tenor, some of his favorite theatrical roles include Gomez Addams (The Addams Family), Rainbow Fish (The Rainbow Fish), and Georg (Spring Awakening). His most recent operatic roles include Duka in Amici Opera Company's (PA) production of Rigoletto and Beppe in Opera Magnifico's (NJ) production of Il Pagliacci.

He is delighted to join the team of teachers at PM music school. He has taught a variety of different ages as well as collegiate students. In genres, such as Pop, rock, musical theater, classical singing, and opera.

Miguel is primarily a solid voice teacher. However, he also can teach basic level piano, music theory, guitar, and ukulele. He hopes to inspire young people to believe in themselves to be so they can hone their crafts and cultivate their passions.
